So what can a collector do should they come across a possible fake?

1. Ask the seller for a close-up of the figure that you are interested in. If an item is shown out of bag, ask for a picture of the actual item that you will be receiving.

2. Asking for authenticity is a closed-ended question; the seller will most likely tell you "yes" and leave it at that. Ask for a pic that includes the holographic Medicom sticker/logo. If it is an older series, ask for a scan of the back of the box that displays copy-write information.

3. If a store is selling Kubricks, then there should be a reference to Medicom whether in the item description or elsewhere on the site.

4. Follow steps 1-3 :) For many, Kubricks and other miniature collectibles are treasures, investments, toys, 3 dimensional art pieces etc. what ever your motivation is to collect, be sure to ask the seller and fellow collectors about the piece you are looking to purchase if you have any doubts about its origin.

We hope this was helpful : )
