Front view of Obi Wan and Jedi Luke Kubricks and Starbrick versions
It is grossly apparent that the details and sculpts from Medicom cannot be replicated easily. If they could, then the creators of StarBricks would invest that time and energy into creating their own figure line if you think about it.

The paints are like night and day. StarBricks do not have the sophisticated expressions or relevant features for each character. The differences between the paint jobs need no further explanation.

One of the most cherished Medicom talents is the ability to create depth and dimension with little deviation from the original Kubrick mold. Medicom has taken this even further with the Star Wars series and chase figures throughout numerous series and boxed sets. This is where artistry meets manufacturing. Most, given the correct tools, can make a Brick figure. What sets Medicom, far apart from the mass production of miniature collectibles, are the company artists that commit their time, effort, and talent to reproduce some of the most memorable characters and scenes from a vast source of mediums.
