A Qee Reflection

We just received signed Qees from OX-OP series 2. We hope to get the second OX-OP series soon and a few 5Cs. Toy2R has made their mark in the Collectibles market! We began our collections with the OX-OP series and Qee Designer Series 4. Both of which are our favorites to this day.

While working on our Qee area, I found myself becoming nostalgic. I remembered the first time we saw Qees. We were in a store in New York and the OX-OP series was sitting by the checkout. Black, red and white boxes with a black card inserted to conceal the Qee's identity. We grabbed a bunch and later that night, we grabbed a cab, to clear the store's counter! We were hooked!

What is it about Blind Assortment? Is it the intermittent reinforcement, similar to Scratch cards, but considerably more satisfying? It is difficult to own just 1 of a particular Qee, naturally a collector wants one on their keychain, one on display and a few others...just in case.

Qee Designer series 4 offered the most "Bells and whistles" with an artist button, stand and card. The cases were packed with 24 blind boxes. There was a good chance for collectors to find that one variant they had been crossing their fingers for. With artists such as Mad Barbarians, Jo Lo, Tado, Wood, Steven Lee, Toygodd, Acid, and Touma, Qee collectors were satiated, for at least a couple of months! Then Boom, The UK Exclusive Designer Qee series 4, filled with variants galore of the previous series with a new pudgy addition, The Egg Qee.

There have been numerous series released since our first OX-OP discovery. Yet, even today, I still say...

More Qees Please!
