FAQ serves as a great way to provide our customers with additional information on how we run our business.
Inventory
We purchase our inventory directly from the manufacturers for most items. The rest are purchased from distributors or via retail purchases we have made.
Prices
What determines the value of a collectible? There are many resources that we research to assist our pricing including; The comics price guide, Lee's Toy Review, Toyfare etc.
The second factor is the cost for shipping from China and Japan. These prices can be quite high when we consider, shipping rates, customs fees and additional handling fees.
Our Exclusives section is filled with rare items that cannot normally be found in retail stores. Example: King Ken Bearbrick Series 9. A customer trying to find King Ken would need to purchase well over 196 Bearbricks to find him if at all. If the Bearbricks cost $3.00 per Brick, the customer would have paid $588.00 plus shipping!
Limited Production Runs
We try to find the rarest mini figs that we can get our hands on. That is part of the fun of collecting! Though some may want to pay $50.00 for that rare fig, we may pay twice as much. For us, a limited production run of 50 gives us 50 chances to find it, and we want to be one of the 50! These are personal decisions for collectors. Some only collect vinyl that Glow in the Dark, others only Translucent, some want every complete set for a particular series, Everything and anything of a particular character, and then there is the mega collector, who will hunt down every Living Dead Doll or Kubrick in Existence! lol

We current accept Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, Paypal and Google Checkout. Personal Checks are accepted from our customers who have established a long term relationship with us :)

Our products may only be sold to customers age 18 or over. Products are intended for adults. Manufacturers include recommended age groups and warnings, Riapet Exclusives is not responsible for customers who choose not to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Riapet Exclusives shall not be liable for damages arising from the operation, content or use of Riapet.com. This limitation of liability applies to all damages of any kind.
Customers agree to pay within 5 business days by check or 3 business days (m-f) via electronic payment method.

When you choose to Register at Riapet.com, we will ask you to include your name, e-mail address, mailing address & telephone number.
When you order from Riapet.com we will ask you to include your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number as well as any information to enable the ordering process. Riapet.com does not give, rent, loan or sell any of this information to any third party unless legally ordered.
Security
We have taken every precaution to make your transaction secure. Our website utilizes industry-standard security measures, including SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). All account information submitted to Riapet Exclusives is safely isolated from unauthorized internet access.

Shipping Times
Domestic Orders ship First Class or Priority Mail dependent on weight. Average Transit time for in-stock items is 1 week. Delivery Tracking/Confirmation is included, insurance is additional and based upon customer request.
International orders ship Global Priority Mail* to most Countries (Excluding Italy and Mexico). In-Stock items Transit time averages 2-3 weeks excluding Customs delays. To remain in compliance with International Tariff Laws, Riapet Exclusives declares actual values as merchandise.
*International customers who choose Paypal for orders will be invoiced for either a Parcel Post Insured rate or Letter Post registered if the order is over $75.00.

Refunds
All sales are final. Should Riapet Exclusives make an error in shipping, we will correct it. Please note that it is normal for designer toys to have minimal imperfections or variations.
